Freshly released: new website for super modern country ensemble Bliscappen Van Maria, entirely designed and coded by yours truly.
Some ingredients used for this production:
- new and exciting CSS3 techniques: media queries (adaptive layout), columns, rgba transparency, webfonts…
- a nice, very flexible audio player, that works both with Flash and HTML5 (on iOS devices): SoundManager 2, by Scott Schiller.
- the webfonts Astloch by Dan Rhatigan and Crimson Text by Sebastian Kosch (served by Google Webfonts).
- best optimization practices thanks to the html5boilerplate, as well as the h5bp build script, which optimizes the site for speedy loading (grade A/score 94 in YSlow).
